The Climate Smart Institute supports the Ocean Literacy in Schools project, developed by Ocean Eyes Productions. This project aims to create a marine education platform with the following features:

Largest Brazilian repository on the ocean:

A vast collection of content, including lesson plans, pedagogical projects, articles, images, and videos featuring interviews with experts from various countries discussing challenges and solutions for marine conservation.

Experiential learning:

Students will have the opportunity to dive in real-time and interact with marine biodiversity, as well as observe the environmental impacts on the ocean. This will be possible through online broadcasts conducted by an ROV (underwater drone) from Ocean Eyes’ catamaran.

Problem-based learning:

Ocean challenges will serve as a starting point for finding solutions that begin at home and in school, fostering students’ leadership and entrepreneurship.

Media education:

Curation and production of digital content through the practical experiences of the Ocean Eyes Productions team at sea.
