Since the Dublin Declaration by the UN in 1992, the role of women in managing water for health (drinking water and sanitation), food, and ecosystem balance has been recognized in various international documents.

In small farms and family agriculture, women are responsible for water management. They take care of family needs, food, small animals, gardens, and sanitation on the properties. Sustainability is also an inherent principle among women, who readily accept new models and play a crucial role in shaping and engaging new generations.

The Women Entrepreneurs Program follows the methodological framework of the Cerrado Circular and provides mentorship support, technical assistance, and market access for products related to community-based tourism, productive backyards, and the Cerrado biome (such as pequi and baru).
